CONCEPT AND APPLICATION

The Brazil AIRPASS was created to reach clients, both foreign and Brazilian, who reside out of the Brazilian territory and wish to travel within Brazil at an attractive rate.

To purchase a TAM Brazilian Airpass the client must purchase an International ticket – with the origin being outside of Brazil and the destination being any city in Brazil.

The Brazil AIRPASS trip may be completed using segments operated by JJ (TAM) and/or JJ* (code share flights operated by Brazilian regional carriers, with whom TAM has an established agreement – given that the use of these code share are subject to the predetermined classes of services).

The Airpass offers between 4 (Four) and 9 (Nine) segments (coupons) to be flown in economy class.

FARES

1. When International travel is with JJ or JJ*(operated flights through TAM Mercosur/PZ).

2. When International travel is with any other carrier for which TAM has a MITA agreement (Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreement).

DISCOUNTS

- Infant: Pays 10% of adult fare

- Child: No discounts apply – same fare as adult.

MINIMUM / MAXIMUM STAY

- Minimum: None apply

- Maximum: 21 days counting from departure of the first sector

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

The baggage allowance for the domestic segments covered by the Brazilian Airpass will be the same as permitted on the international route. 

In the event of excess baggage, 1% of the full economy fare for the sector involved will be charged.

PERIOD OF APLICATION

- Ticketing: From now until December 31, 2007

- Travel: January 1, 2007 through June 10, 2008

ROUTINGS

- OW/RT/CT/OJ trips are permitted.

- The same sector may not be flown more than once in the same direction, except for a connection.

- The same city may not be used as an origin and/or destination more than once, except for a connection.

- When sold in South America, the itinerary must commence in either RIO/SAO/MAO/BEL.

Note: Ciudad del Este / Paraguai (AGT) can also be considered as part of the TAM Brazilian Airpass 2007 using JJ* or PZ flights since this city is considered to be part of the region incorporated in Foz do Iguacu.

STOPOVERS AND CONNECTIONS

- Stopovers and Connections are permitted, but one coupon per flight will be considered.

- Stopovers and Connections are limited to the total number of coupons purchased.

- Each flight is always considered as one coupon.

RESERVATIONS

- All segments must be confirmed before departure.

- The first letter of the fare basis indicates the reservation booking code:

- booking code - S - to fare basis SBAP07JJ

- booking code - Z - to fare basis ZBAP07JJ or ZBAP07YY

- In the case booking codes above are not available, the following classes will be permitted:

- booking code S upgrade to Z - charge US$ 40.00 per coupon.

- booking code Z upgrade to H - charge US$ 30.00 per coupon.

- “TAM BAP” must be informed in the reservation as an OSI.

TICKETING

- Valid for sales and ticketing only outside Brazil.

- Only one Airpass may be purchased in conjunction with each international ticket (including AD/ID and award tickets).

- The Airpass ticket must be a separate ticket and must include a cross reference of the international ticket sold in conjunction with the Airpass.

- Tickets are non endorsable.

- PTA’s are not permitted.

- TAM BAP / NON END must be noted in the endorsement/restriction box.

- Fare basis – SBAP07JJ or ZBAP07JJ or ZBAP07YY

- Fare constructions and combinations are not permitted.

CHANGES

- Rebooking permitted any time: US$ 100.00 per coupon, respecting the validity of the airpass.

- Rerouting: not permitted.

REFUND FOR CANCEL / NO-SHOW

- Before departure: refundable. Penalty: US$ 100.00

- After departure or partially used: non refundable
